Jason
Reckseidler is a free-lance designer specializing in Flash and resolution-independant, scalable HTML design. Jason also creates digital art for custom projects. The artwork above is a sample from his digital art collection. Jason is currently employed on contract at American Honda Company in Torrance, California as Flash animator. Jason also runs Storm Studios, a new media design agency, and Storm Studios Internet Radio which broadcasts Live Allan Cup Hockey and features independant bands from around the world.
The LIVE Game Scoreboard is a Flash web application built specifically for Storm Studios Internet Radio broadcasts. The scoreboard is an MP3 audio player which lets the user listen to the live broadcasts as well as being a live scoreboard so listeners can have the latest score in front of them throughout the entire broadcast. The Rental List CMS is a Flash application enabling the client to change their online listing of rentals. The file is saved as XML and transferable to any application. The Gun Range was produced while employed at Thielbeer. Agentur fuer Kommunikation in Germany but was the sole idea and coding by Jason Reckseidler. The copyright of the material belongs to Thielbeer and is only shown here for portfolio purposes under agreement of rights. The MP3 Player is currently in progress and can play any file from any web server. If you have an mp3 online, type in the URL address and the player will play that file. For a working example, just use the song already loaded in the player. The XML Image Viewer is a one-frame Flash file and all data and navigation is from a single XML file which contains all the necessary information. The Thielbeer MI2-inspired web site is the Flash-based web site built and designed by Olaf Thielbeer and Jason Reckseidler. It contains 43 .swf files and some of the key highlights of this site are two ideas that had never been done in Flash before this time: the functioning combination lock; and the gun scope zoom tool on the location map. The tarm lasertechnik web site is also completely built in Flash and the key area of note is the 'Switch On The Beam' laser light show interactive designed and built by Jason Reckseidler.
The HTML works are 'design' works for the internet for select clients. Each work maintains the current corporate identity and ensures the objectives of the client's marketing program are met the most effective and user-friendly way. The Innisfail Eagles web site is maintained almost daily and allows the team and fans to grow a closer connection. It currently has on average over 3,000 visitors per month not including the web forum included for the fans. After Eight Interiors was designed and produced by Matt Toupin and Jason while employed with media.gig communications, inc. in Calgary.
